Robert Wagoner is a junior photography major at SUNY Purchase College. When moving
forward in time, looking back on the moments of home life serve as devices for the future.
Seeking the beauty in these nostalgic moments is what Robert’s work expresses. Implementing
memories from the past and creating new scenes to photograph, each image establishes its
own sense of the American vernacular. Utilizing where he grew up in Buffalo, NY in combination
with life around the New York City area where he lives now, the work sets a dialogue between
these two American atmospheres.
