Penelope Peralta is a Puerto Rican Dominican-American photographer. She is currently majoring in photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her recent work consists of capturing fashion and portrait photography that emphasizes beauty through organic moments. Penelope’s passion for photography was driven by the point-and-shoot camera gifted to her by her mother and brother, but also by the portraits she took in high school. She is the first person in her Hispanic family to pursue art after high school. She is a very driven young woman who puts all her effort into the projects she works on. Penelope is constantly trying to further her experiences in photography by experimenting with portraiture to develop and expand her body of work.
