Emilio Salcedo is a senior at Uncommon Charter High School in Brooklyn, New York and an HSA Prep Visual Arts student. He has been taking lessons in visual arts disciplines such as drawing and painting since elementary school. Emilio has interned at ArtsConnection, an arts education non-profit in Manhattan. Through the HSA Prep program, Emilio has collaborated on the Hidden History of the Harlem Renaissance with artist-in-residence, Paco Cao. He has also experimented with graphic design and sculpture for the first time. Emilio hopes to enroll in college as an art major next fall.
