The Gordon Parks Master Print Collection consists of 106 gelatin silver prints made by Parks' printer in the early nineties. These prints were selected by Parks as stellar examples of how to best print his work. Parks' printer referred to these prints as his "masters." In some cases there are multiple copies of the same image to demonstrate a variety of printing tones and contrasts. Upon Parks death in 2006, the prints were returned to the Foundation and for the first time were made available for senior art students at the Millbrook School to study and to curate a gallery exhibition.
